In the spa world, few topics stir up as many mixed feelings as cancellation policies. Over the years, in my work as a consultant and spa leader, I’ve walked into so many spas with a cancellation policy printed in the brochure, posted at reception, or mentioned on the website, yet when I ask the team about it, I hear, "Oh, we don't really enforce that." This disconnect is something I’ve seen time and time again, across different markets and spa types.
